Harmony XY (trisomies 21, 18 and 13 + X, Y aneuploidy + fetal sex)
Harmony XY is a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) designed to assess the risk of trisomy 21, 18, 13 and X and Y aneuploidy. If the pregnant woman wishes, the sex of the fetus is indicated. The NIPT test is based on the analysis of free DNA. Free DNA (cfDNA) that circulates in the blood of a pregnant woman also contains a fraction of fetal placental DNA (cffDNA). The assay is performed using targeted microarray sequencing technology. The test is only suitable for singleton pregnancies.
