Trichomonas vaginalis (PCR)

Trichomonas vaginalis - can cause changes in vaginal discharge, itching, burning and discomfort in the vagina or urethra in women. In men, it causes ~10-12% of all cases of non-gonococcal urethritis, itching or discomfort around the genitals, whitish/yellowish discharge from the urethra. Infection may be asymptomatic in at least 50% of women and 70~80% of men.
