Silver

Silver has a toxic effect on the kidneys, reproductive organs, and brain. It inhibits bacterial activity. Although rare, it can be a cause of pulmonary emphysema and fibrosis. Silver accumulates in the capillary walls of the kidneys, bone marrow, and pancreas. Accumulating in the skin causes allergies. Contact with silver sulfides and bromides damages the skin of the nasopharynx (possible bleeding), and with silver oxides - noticeable vision disorders. Using silver preparations can disrupt digestion and lead to dysbacteriosis.
