Paternitysafe® (second and more tested men)

Paternitysafe® is a non-invasive prenatal test that allows determining if a person is the biological father of a child before birth. The test uses a mother's blood sample and a potential father's buccal epithelial sample. The fetal DNA extracted from the mother's blood and the potential father's DNA are analyzed to determine biological paternity through genetic matching. 

If needed, multiple potential fathers can be tested.

The test is not performed if the potential fathers are identical twins. The test is not applicable if the pregnancy is dichorionic diamniotic. Results are provided as a match (biological paternity confirmed) or a mismatch (biological paternity denied).

Execution time after entering the laboratory:  10-15 business days.
