Genetic compatibility test for future parents for 30 genetic diseases.

GeneScreen Focus – a test for planning pregnancy – allows determining if a person is a carrier of genetic diseases that can be passed on to their offspring. It is advisable for both partners planning a pregnancy to undergo the test, as if both are asymptomatic carriers of a disease-causing mutation, there is a risk of passing this disease to their offspring. This risk can be assessed by a geneticist based on the test results.

The test is performed in a laboratory in Rome, Italy from a venous blood sample, and results are provided within 20 working days.
