AntePC - cancer risk test

A genetic test that determines the polygenic risk score and assesses the individual risk of the tested man developing prostate cancer.

This is a new generation test based on genetic and statistical science data. The genetic analysis team provides a detailed interpretation of the test results, indicating identified mutations (single nucleotide polymorphisms, SNP) and, by summing the effects of risk-increasing and risk-reducing mutations, provides the polygenic risk assessment of developing the tested type of cancer. The patient's risk is compared with the average risk of patients in his age group, thus overcoming the gaps of conventional health screening programs that are based solely on the patient's age and do not consider individual risk factors. The test report includes medical recommendations: indicating the necessary frequency of specialized screening, recommended methods to reduce cancer risk, including the use of individualized preparations.

The AntePC test is one of the tools for early detection of prostate cancer. The purpose of this test is to reduce the risk of early mortality from prostate cancer using more accurate screening tests.

Recommendation for when to perform the test: recommended for men aged 40-70 years.
