The validity period of online orders: 3 months from the purchase date.
Genetic test, during which the polygenic risk score is determined and the individual's risk of developing colorectal cancer is assessed.
This is a new generation test based on genetics and statistical science data. The genetic analysis team provides a detailed interpretation of the test results, indicating identified mutations (single nucleotide polymorphisms, SNP) and, by summing up the effects of risk-increasing and risk-decreasing mutations, provides an estimate of the polygenic risk of developing the cancer type under investigation. The patient's risk is compared with the average risk of patients in their age group, thus overcoming the gaps in conventional health screening programs that are based solely on patient age and do not consider individual risk factors. The test results report includes medical recommendations: the frequency of specialized screenings is indicated, and ways to reduce cancer risk are recommended, including the use of individualized preparations.
The AnteCRC test is one of the tools for early prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer. The purpose of this test is to reduce the risk of early mortality from colorectal cancer by applying primary and secondary prevention measures.
Recommendation for when to perform the test: recommended for women and men aged 40-75.
Sample: oral mucosa swab.
Execution time after entry into the laboratory: 3 - 6 weeks.
