Spring - not just great weather!

Spring – a season welcomed by some with joy, and by others with teary eyes, rashes on the body, digestive disorders, or a stuffy nose.  These symptoms can be signs of various illnesses or allergies.

Allergy is a very complex disease of the immune system and manifests individually for each of us. It is influenced by heredity, various environmental factors, and the condition of each of our immune systems. Modern diagnostic and treatment methods are closely related: both the latest laboratory tests and the treatments prescribed based on their results improve the quality of life of patients and help fully overcome the disease.

ALEX2 Macroarray – what is it?

What are the benefits of the ALEX2 Macroarray test?

The ALEX2  macroarray test analyzes not only a multitude of inhalant allergens but also determines sensitizations to house dust mites and domestic animals in detail at the molecular level. The test is globally recognized, and the results show what the person is truly allergic to, whether the sensitization poses a life threat, and what the treatment options and prognosis are for the allergy. From just one blood sample, sensitization to all clinically significant allergens and their molecules is determined. A person's sensitivity to 295 allergens (117 allergens and 178 of their molecules) is tested, and total IgE is determined.

For which symptoms is the ALEX2 Macroarray test recommended?
