To the Shopping Center for Health: New "Rezus.lt" Clinic in "Ozas"

A medical clinic in a shopping center is quite common abroad, but still a new sight in Lithuania. Recently, the "Rezus.lt" clinic opened its doors in PC "Ozas" in Vilnius, offering not only medical but also wellness services. This is another step for this medical network closer to its clients and an incentive to consciously care for one's health well-being.

"Rezus.lt" is a growing and constantly searching company. In each city, we observe what the local residents lack most and develop those services, which is why our activity is so diverse. For example, in Mažeikiai, we provide home ambulatory nursing services for the majority of family clinics, in Šiauliai we invested in radiology services - mammography, because women who wish to use this service paid for by territorial health insurance funds have to wait in long queues. We also developed health check services for work and driving certificates, for which purpose we acquired an X-ray machine. Vilnius is a special city. People here work a lot, strive to remain beautiful, interesting both internally and externally. Therefore, when opening a new clinic, we decided to focus more on forming a healthy lifestyle and developing health literacy. We were looking for partners in other countries, interested in which direction this field is developing today. Visiting the NAD clinic in Munich left no doubt about which partner we want to work with. Their team of specialists inspired us to create such a clinic in Lithuania,” says Daiva Kazlauskienė, founder and director of UAB "Rezus.lt".

Being Closer to People

The company founded in Šiauliai has been counting 13 years. As the name suggests, it started with blood tests, but today other services are also provided, and the geography of activities has significantly expanded. "Rezus.lt" grew its service portfolio by observing and responding to people's needs, constantly investing in the professional training of the team and the quality of research performance. Family doctors, physiotherapists, and other specialists now work in the clinics, with special attention paid to a healthy lifestyle.

"We want to help people maintain good health and develop healthy habits, so we are moving into a broader field of wellness. Recently, a lifestyle medicine specialist joined us, who will consult people wishing to adjust their eating habits, experiencing strong stress, facing sleep difficulties, being physically inactive, determined to lose weight, or get rid of harmful habits. Consultation with such a specialist is also recommended when deviations are found in heart, vascular, glucose, liver enzymes, or trace element tests. A lifestyle medicine specialist can also help those who simply want to live healthier but do not know where to start – this is a professional who fully accompanies a person on the path to a healthy lifestyle. In the future, we plan to further expand the team, adding dieticians, psychologists, and other specialists,” says Aurėja Kazlauskaitė, project manager and daughter of the director of "Rezus.lt".

The latest network clinic opened this month in the capital's shopping center "Ozas." For Lithuanians, seeing medical service clinics in centers traditionally associated with shopping and entertainment is still quite unusual, but according to the founders of "Rezus.lt," this is an organic step in their expansion. "Rezus.lt" has always sought not only to establish a sincere connection with its patients but also to be easily accessible when most needed. A shopping center with longer working hours and a convenient location is a very suitable place for this.

"Abroad, it is not surprising when as many services as possible can be obtained under one roof in a shopping center, efficiently using time. We wanted to offer this opportunity to our people as well. The current fast pace of life often forces us to handle many matters daily, it is no secret that often not everything planned can be completed, people rush, stress arises. We hope that the clinic in the shopping center will at least slightly ease everyday life for people, allowing them to take care of food and health in one place,” assures A. Kazlauskaitė.

A Companion in Healthy Living

The newest network clinic in "Ozas" is distinguished by its exceptional focus on wellness services. Here, you can try intravenous vitamin therapy, considered a supplement for longevity and energy. "Rezus.lt" offers it in collaboration with the international company promoting a healthy lifestyle, "NADclinic." The vitamin cocktails enriching the body contain antioxidants and other important substances, such as the NAD+ molecule, a very important coenzyme on which cell function and energy supply to the body depend. Which vitamin cocktail is most suitable is decided by the doctor after carefully assessing the person's health history. "Rezus.lt" is the only one in Lithuania offering the opportunity to "nourish" your body with an intravenous cocktail with the special NAD+ molecule.

The clinic also offers body shaping procedures performed by a physiotherapist using the "Vela Sculptor III" device. Its uniqueness lies in five different procedures in one: dermomassage, infrared, RF radiofrequency, cavitation, and negative pressure massage. Each of these procedures has its purpose, but the goal of all of them is to maintain a healthy body, so they are perfect not only for enhancing body lines but also for people who exercise intensively. For example, negative pressure dilates blood vessels, improves metabolism, helps remove toxins from the body, and the warmth of infrared rays accelerates regenerative processes and strengthens immunity.

Of course, the clinic will also provide the usual "Rezus.lt" services – vaccinations, doctor consultations, blood tests. A. Kazlauskaitė assures that people's attitudes towards the latter are changing: there is a growing understanding that tests are useful not only when prescribed by a doctor or when feeling unusual, but also prophylactically. People are beginning to understand that to live a truly fulfilling life, one must constantly take care of oneself, monitor the body, and provide what it lacks at the time.

"We strive to constantly expand the scope of research, looking for partners in other countries. We are pleased to present the latest service - telomere length measurement test performed in a laboratory in Barcelona. Telomeres show the true biological age of a person: the shorter they are, the biologically older the person is. Of course, all our efforts should be directed to ensure that telomeres do not shorten and that we live a quality life as long as possible. We also offer to perform a genetic food tolerance test. It is enough to do it once in a lifetime to know which food products suit us and which will definitely not cause inflammatory processes in the body. This molecular test is also performed in the Barcelona laboratory,” presents the project manager.

For Patients to Feel Safe

D. Kazlauskienė notes that more and more often the doors of private clinics are opened by people in their forties and younger, looking for timely, fast, high-quality, and detailed health tests or specialist consultations and understanding their benefits for quality of life. Of course, the possibilities to comprehensively take care of one's health are increased by the growing economic well-being and the increasing popularity of employee health insurance in companies.

UAB "Rezus.lt" cooperates with major insurance companies, so it is very convenient for those with health insurance to perform tests in a private laboratory, where patient data is safely stored, and by logging into the data register, one can track the dynamics of their test results at any time. The company stores patient consents, outpatient cards, and all other records only in electronic form, and patients sign them with a secure cryptographic signature. The clinic's staff is characterized by particularly sensitive attention to people with not only obvious physical but also not so easily noticeable mental disabilities.

"Our goal is to increase health literacy so that a person wants to live healthily and feel good. No supplements or therapy will save if we do not make an effort, do not turn it into a lifestyle, a habit. However, a holistic approach to the person, body care, massages, vitamin therapy, preventive tests, or consultations with health specialists are excellent tools on this wellness path. We are glad to offer these tools to all who want to go this way,” says the "Rezus.lt" director.
