We are pleased to announce that medical psychologist Nikol Stičinskaitė has joined our team.
We care about your health - not only physical but also emotional, mental, and social well-being. So, we are delighted to announce that from October 9th, we will start providing professional mental health services.
Medical psychologist Nikol will work at the new clinic at Švitrigailos St. 11B, Vilnius, which will soon expand and become a modern mental health center, but we will announce more about it later.
The psychologist provides psychological consultations - both short-term and long-term services are available for adults and older adolescents. She also conducts clinical psychological evaluations for adults (personality, thinking, memory and attention, mood and emotional state, dementia, activity and attention disorders, autism, Alzheimer's, and sexual function for women, men, and couples) and provides psychoeducation.
Personal well-being is a priority for mental health specialists. You will be provided with a compassionate, non-judgmental environment, where you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Together, you will explore the causes of the challenges you face and collaborate to create individual strategies to overcome them.
When to seek a psychologist?
People may seek and turn to professional psychological help when they encounter emotional, psychological or behavioral problems that disrupt their life and/or pose a threat to their health (physical, mental, emotional, social). Here are some situations that might encourage a person to seek psychological help:
- Experiencing distressing or unpleasant emotions (e.g., stress, depression, anxiety, fear, anger, helplessness, disappointment, etc.);
- difficulties in relationships (with a partner/family/friends/colleagues, etc.);
- sexual difficulties;
- eating difficulties;
- personal difficulties;
- crisis;
- traumatic experience;
- addictions;
- behavioral difficulties;
- psychosomatic difficulties;
- simply wanting to understand oneself, improve, become a more mature and healthier person.
It's important to note that there are many other situations where professional psychological help can be beneficial. Life can present unexpected challenges and emotional difficulties. If you feel unhappy with your life, unable to cope with emerging problems on your own, symptoms persist, certain events or emotions keep recurring, you are not sure how to deal with the current situation, or you want to understand and grow yourself - seek the help of a medical psychologist.
