A Rehabilitative Center by Rezus.lt Opens in Šiauliai
In the southern part of the city of Šiauliai, the Rezus.lt rehabilitation center has opened its doors, offering initial rehabilitation services to patients. With a doctor's referral, these services are free for patients, being covered by the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund.
The demand for rehabilitation services in Šiauliai is enormous
Due to the high demand for rehabilitation services, Rezus.lt, together with “OLM Clinic”, took on the challenge of opening a rehabilitation center in the southern part of the city. Here, individual and group physiotherapy, therapeutic massages, physiotherapy, lymphatic drainage, and electrotherapy procedures are provided. Residents are invited to morning exercises, spine stabilization exercises, as well as cardio callanetics and Pilates workouts. The exercises are led by experienced physiotherapists who provide individual attention to each exercising person.
“Rezus.lt has been in the market for 15 years. The company has grown throughout Lithuania and operates as a network. A healthcare institution providing family doctor services, secondary level specialist, diagnostic and laboratory services, ensures quality and timely services for our patients. We have been established in Šiauliai for quite some time, and this project was born because the residents of Šiauliai greatly lacked rehabilitation services. This is a service where a person can quickly return to a full life, work, smile, and serve society,” said Rezus.lt director Daiva Kazlauskienė during the center's opening.
D. Kazlauskienė explains that before the center opened in Šiauliai, patients had to wait in huge queues. Sometimes, after injuries or surgeries, city residents had to wait for rehabilitation for up to three months.
“With the team, we took on the challenge to open a rehabilitation center on Gardino Street, which now provides initial outpatient rehabilitation services. We established ourselves here along with partners, with “OLM Clinic” operating nearby. Together, we ensure the continuity of services, as a day hospital operates, as well as secondary level services. Today, we are proud and happy to join and help the residents of Šiauliai,” says the director of Rezus.lt.
Martynas Gedminas, a representative of the partners, echoes the enthusiasm of the Rezus.lt director, expressing delight at such a unique opportunity.
“For our institution, this is the beginning of such stable operations in Šiauliai, where we are opening a day hospital, let's call it a day clinic. We have gained a lot of experience from other treatment institutions and are trying to apply it here. We are very pleased that by working with partners, we will be able to ensure the continuity of certain services. We will most want and be able to help people who experience acute or chronic pain so that they can return to normal life as quickly as possible. We will also be able to assist family doctors when it comes to diagnosing and treating certain complex diseases that would be difficult to access in the primary care stage,” says “OLM Clinic” manager Martynas Gedminas.
