1995 – 2001 – studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University
2001 – 2002 – primary residency (internship) at Vilnius University
2002 – 2004 – residency in Family Medicine at Vilnius University
2005 – 2008 – residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vilnius University
Professional Experience
More than 20 years of experience as a family doctor (working in a family doctor’s practice, preventive health check-ups, etc.).
Has worked as chairman or member of medical advisory commissions in various personal health care institutions.
2015 – 2019 worked as the head of the Internal Diseases Department at the Polyclinic of Vilnius Clinical Hospital.
Scientific and Pedagogical Activity
Main research focus since 2010 – the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency, its causes, and associations with various human health disorders.
In 2014, defended a dissertation titled “Seasonal variations in blood vitamin D concentrations in young men and their associations with soluble endothelial cell adhesion molecules”; awarded a PhD in medical sciences.
Since 2009, has worked as an assistant (resident supervisor), later – lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University; from 2024 – senior lecturer.
Since 2010, involved in the Student Scientific Activity Network (SSAN): member of student scientific work evaluation committees; supervisor of student and resident scientific works.
Presented reports at scientific conferences in Lithuania and abroad (Poland, France, Ireland, Spain, Slovakia).
Qualification Improvement
Continuously improves qualifications at various conferences, courses, and seminars for family and other specialty doctors in Lithuania and abroad.

Expert Activity:
As an expert, collaborated for many years with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, participating in working groups, committees, and other structures organized by the ministry, as well as with the State Health Care Accreditation Agency under the Ministry of Health.
From March 2025, a non-staff expert for the Health Affairs Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament.
