myPrenatal basic

myPrenatal basic – this is a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) intended for the detection of trisomies of chromosomes 21, 18, and 13 detection. The fetal sex is indicated at the pregnant woman's request. In the case of twin pregnancy, it can be determined whether at least one of the fetuses has a Y chromosome, i.e., is male.
The NIPT test is based on the analysis of free fetal DNA, performing whole genome sequencing (WGS). The free DNA (cfDNA) circulating in the pregnant woman's blood detects the DNA fraction of the fetus(es) placenta(s) (cffDNA).

Recommendation from when to perform the test: Single and twin - from 10 weeks of pregnancy.
