Description

The conscious breathing session is a set of various practices during which the breathing method (depth, pattern, speed, or other parameters) is consciously regulated and voluntarily controlled to improve mental, emotional, and physical health. These techniques have a long history and originate from various traditions and practices worldwide. Scientific research shows a significant effect of breathing exercises in reducing subjective stress, anxiety, and depression (Fincham et al., 2023). A breathing session can be an excellent tool for changing suppressed emotions, limiting beliefs, and states. During the initial consultation, the client's issues are discussed, and the most suitable breathing method is selected. The breathing session lasts one hour, followed by an individual consultation (50 minutes). During the consultation, the experience is integrated.
