24-hour Holter monitoring

This is a heart rhythm study important for diagnosing ischemic heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, and changes in heart function over a 24-hour period under normal conditions.

This is a safe, painless, and highly accurate test during which a small digital recording device is attached to the body. It does not interfere with daily activities, allowing you to go to work and perform other usual actions. After 24 hours, the recording device is connected to a computer with special software for analysis, which is carefully reviewed and evaluated by a cardiologist. This test is crucial for clarifying the nature of the disease and prescribing the most necessary treatment.

Holter monitoring is recommended for patients who:

• Complain of chest pains with palpitations;
• Complain of dizziness and fainting of unclear origin, restless sleep, and night sweats;
• Experience persistent or episodic heart rhythm disorders of unclear origin.

Tests are conducted at Rezus.lt clinic in Šiauliai city from Monday to Thursday. Pre-registration is required.
