If you haven't consumed a certain food product for a longer period, it may be that your blood sample does not detect or detects very few IgG antibodies against food antigens. 

Why do IgG antibody results react to foods you've never eaten before?

The structure of proteins (antigens) found in some different food products is very similar. Therefore, antibodies produced by the body can recognize not only the antigens for which they were formed but also the antigens of other food products. Such cross-reaction may be the reason why your test results show an increased reaction to foods you've never eaten before. You may have unknowingly consumed ingredients of food products that cause this reaction. For example, food supplements and cosmetic products may contain food antigens causing complaints. 

Is the food intolerance test suitable for children? 

Currently, there are no guidelines indicating the minimum age for conducting an IgG food hypersensitivity test. Since a baby's immune system is still in the development phase, it is not recommended to perform a food intolerance test on children under two years of age.

The food intolerance test determines IgG class antibodies against food and food additives. Depending on which organ system is affected, food intolerance manifests with various symptoms:
