Hair, Nails, and Skin - When to Worry?

Healthy hair, nails, and skin are important indicators of health. They reflect a balanced bodily function and mental health. We often encounter cases where people think that hair, nail, and skin problems can be solved solely by using specific products (creams, shampoos, nail products, etc.).

Most common hair, skin, and nail problems

  • Long-term stress. Long-term stress can cause hair loss, known as alopecia. When the body experiences significant stress, it may go into "rest mode," avoiding energy expenditure on hair growth. This can lead to temporary or even long-term hair loss.
  • Anxiety. Anxiety or tension can affect the condition of nails. Continuous stress causes hormonal imbalance in the body, affecting nail growth and their overall condition.
  • Depression. Depression can cause various skin problems. Research shows that emotional instability may be linked to skin issues like psoriasis, eczema, or acne. This can be related to immune system imbalance or the body's ability to respond to inflammation caused by emotional stress.

Skin restoration and maintaining good condition depend not only on the emotional state but also on physical imbalance

  • Digestive tract disorders. Thyroid disorders can also cause problems. In hypothyroidism, the skin ages faster, nails become brittle, and hair becomes fragile, breaking, and falling out. When thyroid hormones are lacking, most hair falls out from the temple area; often, hypothyroidism leads to the loss of eyebrows and eyelashes.
  • Hormonal imbalance and deficiency of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. To find out if you have problems with nutrient absorption, you need to test for food intolerances. Rapid skin aging, nail deformation, splitting, and layering, hair loss, breakage, and fragility are associated with deficiencies of vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients that should be obtained from food: proteins, amino acids, omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids, iron, selenium, zinc, magnesium, copper, folic acid, biotin, vitamins D and B12, etc.
  • Intestinal imbalance. Hair, skin, and nail problems also start when there is a lack of digestive enzymes and damaged intestinal microflora. No other substance can replace digestive enzymes, so if they are lacking, these enzymes need to be supplemented during meals. The appearance of the skin, especially the condition of the face and scalp, is strongly influenced by the balance of good bacteria and fungi in the intestines.

Packages for investigating hair, skin, and nail problems

We all occasionally worry about the condition of our hair, skin, and nails. Some become concerned in spring, wanting to flourish with nature, while others care all year round. These days, we are bombarded with countless recommendations,  hundreds of diets, yet we continue to resolutely nurture facial skin with cream, hair with shampoo, and nails with strengthening polish. But do we consider that the issue might lie within the body? The restoration and maintenance of good condition of the skin, hair, and nails depend on the balance in the body, which is why we offer three different packages for investigating hair, skin, and nail problems:

  • The Minimal package, consisting of 12 tests;
  • The Medium package, consisting of 16 tests;
  • The Maximum package, consisting of 19 tests.
