Talis

Talis is a very toxic metal. It is used in small amounts in medicine and industry, but thallium salts are very poisonous. Thallium accumulates in fish and crustaceans. Poisoning most often occurs through the consumption of food products contaminated with thallium or through industrial work and inhalation of vapors containing this metal. It is also possible to get poisoned through contact with soil where pesticides have been used. Even short-term exposure to thallium can cause vomiting, diarrhea, temporary hair loss, and affect the nervous system, lungs, heart, liver, and kidneys.
