Talis

Talis is a highly toxic metal. It is used in small quantities in medicine and industry, but thallium salts are very poisonous. Thallium accumulates in fish and crustaceans. Poisoning usually occurs by consuming food products contaminated with thallium or by working in industry and inhaling vapors containing this metal. It is also possible to be poisoned by coming into contact with soil where pesticides have been used. Even short-term exposure to thallium can cause vomiting, diarrhea, temporary hair loss, and affect the nervous system, lungs, heart, liver, and kidneys.
