Description

The health check-up is performed for children aged 8 years and older, including school-age minors and legal adults.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Additional tests are required for children engaged in professional or competitive sports; these are not included in the base service price.

Information on the Annual Health Check for Schoolchildren (to obtain the Student Health Certificate):

All children under the age of 18 and students over 18 who are enrolled in general education programs are required to undergo an annual preventive health examination. Upon completion, an electronic Student Health Certificate is issued.

The child’s health is assessed by a family physician. In addition, an oral health and dental hygiene evaluation is mandatory and must be conducted once per year. This can be performed by a dentist, dental specialist, or dental hygienist, and it may take place either before or after the general medical check-up.

The annual preventive health screening helps to identify health problems at an early stage, encourages a healthier lifestyle, and ensures that the child’s health needs are considered in the educational process.

How to prepare for the child’s preventive health check:

  • Bring the child’s personal identification document (ID or passport)
  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under the age of 16
  • Ensure a dental check-up has been completed within the past year
  • Bring a fresh urine sample; for preparation instructions, please refer to our urine collection guidelines

When is a more detailed medical evaluation required?

If, during the health check, the family physician suspects possible health or developmental issues, the Student Health Certificate may not be issued immediately. In such cases, the doctor will refer the child or student for further evaluation by relevant specialists.

Until what age must a parent or legal guardian accompany the child?

A parent or legal representative must accompany children under 16 years of age.
Children aged 16 and above may attend the health check-up independently.
