Compression (lymphatic drainage) procedures for legs (15 min.)

In our institution, we use the modern 'BTL-6000 Lymphastim'' lymphatic drainage device, which is used to treat limb lymphedema and to improve overall limb circulation. During lymphatic drainage massage, lymph flow through the lymphatic vessels in the body is activated. These vessels are responsible for the collection and removal of toxic substances from body tissues. Lymphatic drainage is particularly effective for treating limb lymphedema and improving overall circulation.

Lymphatic drainage works through three main mechanisms:

1. Activation of lymph flow – the massage encourages lymph flow, helping to remove excess fluids and toxins.

2. Improvement of circulation – the procedure helps reduce swelling and improves tissue nourishment.

3. Detoxification – lymphatic drainage promotes the body's natural cleansing processes, helping to eliminate harmful substances.
