Vaccine Stamaril Pasteur (0.5 ml) (Yellow Fever Vaccine)

Stamaril – is a live attenuated vaccine designed to protect against yellow fever – a dangerous viral disease transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes. The disease is prevalent in some African and South American countries. The vaccine is produced by Sanofi Pasteur and contains the attenuated yellow fever virus (17D strain), which induces a long-term immune response.

• Indications: The vaccine is intended for individuals aged 9 months and older who are traveling to or living in endemic areas, as well as for those required by international travel regulations (IHR).

• Administration: A single subcutaneous or intramuscular injection (0.5 ml).

• Onset of Protection: Immunity develops within 10 days after vaccination.

• Duration of Protection: A single dose provides lifelong protection (according to WHO recommendations).

• Vaccination Certificate: Issued and becomes valid 10 days after the vaccination; required for entry into some countries (International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis – ICVP).

• Contraindications: Severe allergy to egg proteins, immunosuppression, pregnancy (relative contraindication), infants under 9 months (except in outbreak situations), certain chronic conditions.

Important:
The Stamaril vaccine can only be administered in certified yellow fever vaccination centers, and a document confirming vaccination is required in many countries as an international travel requirement.
