Genome DX – test myGenome with diagnostic interpretation.

This test involves whole genome sequencing to identify health disorders that are believed to have a genetic origin. Genome DX is intended for patients with a complex health history or symptoms indicative of a possible genetic disease, even when other genetic tests have shown negative results. Patients may learn about genetic changes that explain their symptoms. These results can influence treatment and medical care decisions and have implications for other family members.

Indications for conducting Genome DX test: symptoms suggesting a genetically determined health disorder; complex personal and/or family health history; symptoms affecting more than one body system; symptoms that cannot be easily explained as a single known genetic disorder; patient's experienced 'diagnostic odyssey' – suspected genetic diseases, but previous genetic test results negative, yet whole exome or whole genome testing has not been performed.
