The doctor takes care of the health of infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years. Provides consultations on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, assesses child growth, development, physical and emotional state, and advises parents on nutrition, sleep, behavioral difficulties, and a healthy lifestyle. If needed, ensures collaboration with other child health specialists.
Also provides consultations on rheumatic diseases: juvenile idiopathic arthritis, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, myositis, scleroderma, autoinflammatory syndromes, fibromyalgia, and other joint and connective tissue diseases. Performs laboratory tests, joint ultrasounds, punctures, injections into joints, and skin biopsies, prescribes and monitors treatment.
Areas of interest include child growth and development, disease prevention, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, biological and targeted therapies, early diagnostic methods, and chronic pain management.
Education:
2016-2025 Pediatric diseases and pediatric rheumatology residency studies, qualification as a pediatrician and pediatric rheumatologist.
From 2023 Lecturer - Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, Pediatric Clinic.
From 2025 pediatric rheumatologist/pediatrician at Santara Clinics, Pediatric Center.
Since April 2018, administrator of the competence center for rare pediatric rheumatic and autoinflammatory diseases.
