The doctor takes care of the health of infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years old. Provides advice on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, assesses the child's growth, development, physical and emotional state, and offers guidance to parents on nutrition, sleep, behavioral issues, and healthy lifestyle. If necessary, ensures collaboration with other children's health specialists.
Also provides consultations on rheumatic diseases: juvenile idiopathic arthritis, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, myositis, scleroderma, autoinflammatory syndromes, fibromyalgia, and other joint and connective tissue diseases. Performs laboratory tests, joint ultrasounds, punctures, injections into joints, and skin biopsies, prescribes and supervises treatment.
Areas of interest include child growth and development, disease prevention, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, biological and targeted therapies, early diagnostic methods, and chronic pain management.
Education:
2016-2025 Pediatric Diseases and Pediatric Rheumatology Residency Studies, qualifications of a pediatrician and pediatric rheumatologist.
Since 2023 Lecturer - Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, Pediatric Diseases Clinic.
From 2025 pediatric rheumatologist/pediatrician at Santaros Clinics, Pediatrics Center.
Since April 2018, administrator of the Children's Rare Rheumatic and Autoinflammatory Diseases Competence Center.
